Trade Name Certificates

Effective January 1, 2025 per Public Act 24-111:

• All Trade Names issued prior to January 1, 2025 will expire on December 31, 2029.
• All Trade Names issued on or after January 1, 2025 will expire 5 years from the date of filing, unless renewed.
• The cost of filing a Trade Name Certificate or a Trade Name Cancellation is $20.00.
