Responsibilities

The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and orientation process for new full-time and part-time employees. It administers employee benefit plans including Health, Pensions, Compensation, Classification, Workers’ Compensation, Disability, and Life Insurance. It also works with the Town Manager to ensure equitable and cooperative labor relations are promoted by the department. This is done through collective bargaining and contract administration while ensuring compliance with State and Federal Labor and Employment Laws.
