Assessor's Report
The Assessment Department's primary responsibility is to value for tax purposes all property, both taxable and tax exempt located within the Town of South Windsor. The Grand List is the primary source of revenue for the Town and is the culmination of a year's worth of work performed by the Assessment staff in the valuation of the Town tax base. The change in the Grand List totals represent the net value of Real Property, Personal Property, and Motor Vehicles as of October 1, annually.
The October 1, 2024 Grand List was signed by the Assessor on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
April 15, 2025 - The October 1, 2024 Grand List for the Town of South Windsor was re-opened, re-signed and re-published by the Assessor on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
