Fit for Life Fitness Center
The Fit for Life Fitness Center is located at the Charles N. Enes Community Center, 150 Nevers Road, South Windsor and is for South Windsor residents 55 and over. With state of the art equipment, you can come in, work out with your peers in a small environment with a plan designed specifically for you. Barbara Konicki, Program Coordinator for the South Windsor Senior Center, will review your medical clearance form from your doctor to put a program together that best meets your needs.
Hours Beginning in January 2024:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Saturdays 7:30 AM to 12 Noon
A variety of memberships are available to you:
Renew Active: If you have United Healthcare Insurance, contact them to confirm their participation in Renew Active and get a confirmation code. If you have a confirmation code, your membership is FREE! Provide the Senior Center staff with your code and we will take it from there!
Silver Sneakers: If you have Silver Sneakers through your insurance company, contact them by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. Confirm your 16 digit Tivity Health ID. With this ID number your membership is free! Bring this code to Senior Center Staff and we will get you registered!
Membership fees: Annual membership is $75 per year; other options are just $10 per month. For people who would like to volunteer in the fitness center two hours a week, the membership fee is waived. Volunteers are not used to train people on the equipment, they are simply there as attendants to monitor the room.
