Many crimes in South Windsor are solved by citizens who have come forward to police and provided information regarding criminal activity. The Criminal Investigations Division actively seeks out information related to ANY crimes, and welcomes tips from citizens who are willing to help us make our community safer. You are NOT required to provide your name, address or any contact information when you leave your tip. Information we receive via tips will be used to launch or assist an ongoing investigation, and we will not disseminate where the information came from on any police reports. If you are willing to speak with a detective directly and provide confidential information, please leave a phone number and time of day or evening that we can reach you at.

We actively seek tips regarding crimes such as (but not limited to) Homicides, Sexual Assaults, Robberies, Burglaries, Narcotic Activity, Social Media Threats, Larcenies, Child Predators, Financial Crimes, Cold Cases or any other crimes that affect our community.
