Applicant Fingerprinting Service

Updated April 16, 2024

IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING CIVILIAN FINGERPRINTING: The Connecticut Criminal History Request System (CCHRS) is now up and running. If you are planning on getting fingerprinted for any reason in South Windsor, you will need to complete a Privacy Rights form and have a verified application at the police department.  Once those are complete, you can receive our agency code at the Police Department and go to https://ct.flexcheck.us.idemia.io/cchrspreenroll.

Fingerprinting is provided by a private vendor, Biometric Identification Services.  They provide walk-in service at the South Windsor Police Department on the first, third and fifth Thursdays of each month from 3pm to 6pm.  They are located in the lobby. There is a $30.00 feel payable via cash, check or money order to "Biometric Identification Services" .

The service is also offered by Biometric at other locations http://www.bioidentserv.com/

For Pistol Permit Fingerprinting, see the Permit/Registration/Signups Tab on the side menu.
