NOTICE
Town of South Windsor — Administrative Fees for DMV Put-On and Take-Off
Effective July 1, 2026, the Town of South Windsor will begin assessing a fee to delinquent motor vehicle accounts to help offset the annual DMV fee and assist in funding necessary staffing resources.
This applies only to taxpayers with a delinquent motor vehicle tax bill.
- $5.00 per vehicle Put-On Fee
- $20.00 per name for immediate DMV clearance
