UPDATED - COVID-19 Testing Event Press Release
The Town of South Windsor is hosting two free COVID-19 testing drive-thru events on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 9am-2pm and Thursday November 19th from 4-7pm at Fire Headquarters, 1175 Ellington Road, South Windsor We are hoping to test as many South Windsor residents as possible! No appointment is needed and you will not be allowed to exit your vehicle. This event is for all ages. Please bring your insurance card if you have one. Anything insurance does not pay for is covered by the state pop up program that is actively running through the end of December. Those who do not have insurance will also be covered by the state program.
Please print and complete a testing form, if possible, prior to the event to keep the lines moving. The tests provided will be PCR tests, which have been taking 24-72 hours to get a result back. InterCommunity Health Care will call everyone who has been tested with their result. There will be no rapid test option at this event.
