Mr. Caldwell stated that all of the bamboo has been removed from this property.

Open Discussion – Visioning for SWAAN Ctr. Project

Committee members and guests all voiced their vision for this property, as shown in attached, Exhibit A.

After discussions and a vote on different suggestions, the priorities of this project were determined to be the house and farming.

Councilor Snyder made a motion to accept the house and farm as the priorities for this project and evaluate the house through a home inspection. Councilor Pendleton seconded the motion; and it was approved, unanimously.

Committee members discussed the ability to construct a barn in the back of the house, the constraints on the site, public access onto the property and funding for the home inspection.

Councilor Snyder made a motion to have the funds come out of the SWAAN budget for the home inspection to the house on the property.  Councilor Pendleton seconded the motion; and it was approved, unanimously.

Committee members then decided that John Caldwell would try to contact Dave Sherwood on Ellington Road for the home inspection.  Councilor Snyder would talk with the Department of Transportation to see if access near the light is a possibility and Mr. Folger would flag the wetlands.  Councilor Paterna requested that a waiver for the use of the well be sought.
