Electronics Recycling Drop-Off Event

The next Electronics Recycling Drop-off event will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, CT from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the rear parking lot.  Signs will be used to control traffic flow through the site; access to the site will be from Sullivan Avenue.  The E-waste contractor will be on site to receive the E-waste from each vehicle.  For your safety,  PLEASE STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE DURING THE ENTIRE COLLECTION.  We will take care of everything, so just sit back and relax.

  • Microwave Ovens
  • VCR's, DVD players

 

Please note: the items listed above are no longer collected curbside

  • Municipal Solid Waste
  • Medical Yard Waste
  • Year Waste
  • Construction Debris
  • Pressurized Tanks
  • Radioactive Waste
  • Hazardous Waste
  • Items with Freon (Refrigerators, Freezers, Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers)

What You Can Do

If you have any of the accepted electronic devices listed above in your home and don’t intend to use them or give them away, please bring them to the Town’s E-Recycling Collection at the South Windsor Town Hall in the rear parking lot.

Signs will be used to control traffic flow through the site; access to the site will be from Sullivan Avenue. The E-waste contractor will be on site to receive the E-waste directly from each resident.

No items with refrigerants (refrigerators /air conditioners)

For your safety, PLEASE STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE DURING THE ENTIRE COLLECTION.
We will take care of everything, so just sit back and relax.
