Veterans Memorial Park Improvements

South Windsor cares deeply about its veterans, living and deceased. Veterans Memorial Park honors the memory of South Windsor residents who died in conflict during WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam wars. Behind the monuments stands a gray polished granite wall honoring all branches of service. The brick pathway to the monuments is eagle shaped and hosts bricks that can be inscribed to honor both residents and family members who served or have served in the military. The Patriotic Commission continues to raise funds through donations for improvements.

Tax deductible checks and donations may be made payable to South Windsor Community Foundation, P.O. Box 1341, South Windsor, CT 06074. Please note in memo area: South Windsor Veterans Memorial Wall.

The Patriotic Commission continues to sell bricks that are inscribed with a veteran's name, military branch, and years of service. Any town resident or business may purchase a brick to show their patriotism and support. After the bricks have been inscribed, they are added to the Veterans Memorial Park Monument Walk twice yearly, for Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
