Notice of Temporary Debris Site Extended Operation Schedule

UPDATE

Your Town of South Windsor Temporary Debris Site will continue to remain open and receiving debris from this past weeks’ storms until Sunday July 18th at 5 PM.

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 8:00 AM to 6 PM & Sunday 9:00 AM to 5 PM.

Please note that the Town will not be providing curbside pick up of storm debris at this time.

Any loads that aren’t deemed to be storm debris or contain contaminates will be turned away.

Notice of Temporary Debris Site Opening

In light of the localized recent storm events that have severely impacted the community, and the potential for more damage in the days to come; the Town has taken the steps to open a temporary debris site for Town of South Windsor Residents only.  The location will be located on Burgess Road at the Site Two Leaf site.

This Temporary Debris Site will commence operation at noon on Thursday July 8th, closing at 6 pm.  The site will continue to operate on the following schedule.

Friday, July 9th 8:00 AM to 6 PM

Saturday, July 10th 8:00 AM to 6 PM

Sunday, July 11th 9:00 AM to 4 PM

Monday, July 12th 8:00 AM to 6 PM

Tuesday, July 13th 8:00 AM to 6 PM

And the last day of operation being Wednesday, July 14th 8:00 AM to 6 PM
