SUBJECT: Town of South Windsor Mask Mandate Update

Due to multiple inquiries from local businesses regarding how to implement the Town-wide mask mandate, the Town has decided to issue further guidance that shall take effect on Friday 9/3/2021. When indoors, in a public location of a private business, everyone must wear a mask unless:

1. Seated and eating or drinking in an establishment; or

2. Vaccinated, isolated, stationary and more than 6 feet from another individual; or

3. A valid written medical exemption from a physician.

All private businesses within the Town of South Windsor are required to have all employees and patrons wear a mask while in their facility and following the CDC mask wearing guidelines.
