In partnership with the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce, we are hosting a seminar entitled:

Short & Long Term Recovery Seminar

Date & Time:    Wednesday July 08, 2015 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Presenters include:
Corey Nygaard, Recovery Planning Coordinator Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 1– is a senior FEMA Community Planning and Capacity Building specialist who will provide an overview of the National Disaster Recovery Framework.
George Bradner, Director, Property Casualty Division Connecticut Insurance Department and the State Long Term Recovery Co-Chair –Will be discussing Connecticut’s long Term recovery framework and the importance of creating local community recovery teams.

Theresa Ranciato-viele, Coordinator Connecticut Rises and Richard Branigan, Chief Program Officer American Red Cross Connecticut and Rhode Island Region and the State Co-Chair for Individual Assistance (IA) – Will be disusing Individual assistance and the importance of establishing community recovery teams and how CT Rises and IA work with your communities to assist in long term recovery efforts.
