Leaf Collection Update November 18, 2015
2nd pass of leaf collection begins in all Districts on Thursday, November 19, 2015.
The bulk of the leaves were picked up during first pass this season and we believe that second pass will move along much faster. Therefore the anticipated collection schedule by area by District is as follows:
District 1 – Debbie Dr. area, Lawrence Rd. area, Trumbull/Partridge area, Carman/Concord area, Benedict Dr area, Diane Dr. area, Pine Knob area, Woodland area, main roads (Avery St., Kelly Rd.)
District 2 – Fairview Dr/Norton La. area, Orchard Hill Dr. area, Gray Rd. area, Birch Hill Dr. area, Tallwood Dr. area, Greenwood/Rainbow area, Mohegan/Ridgefield area, Windy Hill/Kupchunos area, Cardinal Way/Ridge Rd/Imperial Dr area, Country View area, Perrin La./Rimfield Dr. area, main roads (Beelzebub, Route 74, Dart Hill Rd., Foster St., Oakland Rd.)
District 3 – Main St/King St. area, Oxbow/Old Parish area, Gorski Dr./Ident/Colony Rd. area, Hilton Dr. area, Davewell/Hollis Rd area, Quarry Brook/Northview Dr. area, Austin Cir/Wheeler Rd area, LeFoll Blvd./Murielle Dr. area, main roads (Pleasant Valley, Ellington Rd., Clark St., Smith St., Chapel Rd., Long Hill Rd., Governor’s Hwy., Beldon Rd., Strong Rd., Foster Rd., West Rd., Route 194, Newberry)
District 4 –
District 4 has 2 leaf collection crews working simultaneously, one crew will be working on the schedule of:
Lake St/Berle Rd area, Abbe Rd. Ext/Windshire area, Wood Pond/Rockledge area, Old Farm/Maskel area, Robert Dr area, Farmstead/Greenfield area, Herman Way/Joseph La area, High St/Skyline Dr. area, Steep Rd/Hillside Dr. area, Morgan Farm area, Sunset Terrace/Mark Drive area, Hillsdale/Mountain View area,
The second crews schedule by area is as follows:
Farnham/Scantic Meadow area, Gordon/Wendy area, Wentworth/Alexander area, Hearthstone/Stonefield area, Bourbon/Saginaw area, Bridlewood/Carriage/Lipman area, Andreis Trail area, main roads (Graham Rd., Nevers Rd., Sand Hill Rd., Miller Rd., Abbe Rd., Foster St. Ext., Niederwerfer Rd., Griffin Rd., Brookfield St., Windsorville Rd., Rye St.).

As a reminder the leaf drop off site at the Town Garage on Burgess Road is open 7 days a week from 7 am to 5 pm until December 24, 2015 for your convenience.
