Tree Trimming and Removal Project
TO BEGIN ON 6-8-15

Eversource Energy recently inspected some streets and properties that were due for tree trimming maintenance. These areas are properties in close proximity to their electrical service lines and pose the potential for a loss of power to their customers in South Windsor, if not maintained. They will begin trimming, pruning, and perform necessary tree removals on various areas throughout the Town starting on June 8th, 2015.
 
Residents and property owners have been contacted by the Asplundh Tree Expert Company, the contractor doing the work for Eversource Energy, where the trimming and pruning will be done. Property owners have been sent permission forms for tree removals where tree conflicts exist and are prone to possible failure.

Town tree’s within the Right of Way that have the potential to fail and have such defects as disease, fungus, structural defects, root damage, decline, extensive storm damage will be posted and removed in accordance with State Statute.
