Local leaders for years have streamlined local operations by changing pension, health care cost, reducing expenditures and using best practices in providing the services our residents want and need. It is time for the State of Connecticut political leaders to do the same but not on the backs of local government. This video hopefully will allow you to understand the constraints and frustrations local leaders have to deal with when trying to produce budgets and hold the line on taxes.
