Community Informational Session for Abutting Property Owners of

Eli Terry and Philip R. Smith Elementary Schools

December 6, 2017 – 6:30 PM, Timothy Edwards Middle School, Room Alt 6

 

On October 20, 2017 the Public Building Commission and Board of Education sent a communication to abutting property owners of the Eli Terry and Philip R. Smith Elementary Schools regarding an informational session planned to discuss the construction of both schools.   

This informational session will be held on December 6, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Timothy Edwards Middle School, 100 Arnold Way, room Alt 6 (second floor). This meeting is being held to provide neighbors and abutters to each campus with accurate information regarding the proposed siting of these facilities.  In addition to learning about the project, this session will provide you with an opportunity to meet the project team that consists of the project architect, owner’s project manager, and construction manager. Members of the Public Building Commission, Board of Education, the Superintendent of Schools, school district staff, and town staff will be present as well.

Although we anticipate interest in the building’s appearance, the design of the building has not yet been developed. Those discussions will begin take place in the next few months. The focus of the December 6 meeting is limited to the proposed siting of the buildings and a review of the work that has been completed to date.
