Alarm Registration

Per town ordinance burglar, security and panic alarm users are required to register with the police department.  There is a $35.00 registration fee payable annually along with the Alarm System Registration form. This requirement does not apply to fire alarms (although fire alarm registrations are encouraged and fee-optional).  Bank Alarms have a unique registration form to submit.  Banks should contact the department at 860-644-2551 and ask to speak to the Investigations Manager to request the appropriate training in our response procedures. The Records Department manages the registrations.  

Checks should be made out to: Town of South Windsor

Completed forms should be mailed to or dropped off at the police department.
