Subject: Pleasant Valley Road/Clark Street Sidewalk & Bikeway Connections Project
Dear Property Owner:
The Preliminary design has been completed for the Town of South Windsor’s project to construct new sidewalks on Pleasant Valley Road & Clark Street to connect existing sidewalks on these streets from their intersection to those in the Town of Manchester.
This project was approved for funding under the Connecticut Department of Transportation Community Connectivity Program. Based upon preliminary estimate, the construction cost will be approximately $400,000 and will be covered by the grant from ConnDOT. The Town is responsible for design costs.
The Town of South Windsor will conduct a virtual public informational meeting on September 24, 2020 at 7:00 PM to present the project design and receive citizen input on this project.
