The second installment of real estate and personal property bills are due January 1, 2021. The last day to pay without penalty is Monday, February 1, 2021. Supplemental motor vehicle tax bills will be mailed Monday, December 28, 2020.  Payment is due January 1, 2021. The last day to pay without penalty is Monday, February 1, 2021.  Tax information is available on line by clicking here.

Due to COVID-19, staff and hours may be limited as a result of ever-changing restrictions. To expedite service please use the links below to email questions to the Collector of Revenue or Assessor.

To encourage social distancing, the below options are available. If you would like a receipt please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

  • Payment of check or money order payment by mail to Post Office Box 150460, Hartford, CT 06115-0460
  • Secure drop boxes at Town Hall that are emptied daily and monitored by video.  A drive-up box is located at the front of Town Hall and one is mounted outside on the front of the building. Payment of check or money order only, no cash. 
  • Payment made on line using an ACH check will have the 95-cent fee waived effective December 21, 2020 thru February 1, 2021. 
  • Payment on line using a debit or credit card, fees apply
  • If you believe that you require an in-person transaction call 860-644-2511 ext. 321 to set up an appointment.

In order to adjust a Supplemental tax bill for a vehicle you no longer own, please submit a bill of sale or other disposal of the vehicle along with a DMV plate receipt; to the Assessor’s office by one of the three methods listed below:
