Cooling Center Information:
Just a reminder, with the arrival of elevated temperatures this weekend, the South Windsor Community Center on Nevers Road and the South Windsor Library on Sullivan Avenue may be used as cooling centers during regular hours. The library is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. (https://www.southwindsorlibrary.org/hours.asp)
Additional resources and shelter information is always available 24/7 by calling the Infoline at 2-1-1. Please share this with friends and neighbors that may need assistance. Also, remember your pets in this weather and make sure they have adequate shelter and/or bring them inside. As always, we are here at 860-644-2551 for routine calls and for all emergencies call 9-1-1.
