Saturday and Sunday Work in Barbour Hill Substation Area

July 22 and 23, 2017

Dear Neighbor,

We would like to thank you for your patience and support while we replace the existing shield wire with optical ground wire and install new network communication equipment in nearby substations. With these improvements, Eversource will be better able to increase and control the reliability and delivery of power to customers.

The purpose of this letter is to notify you that we will need to pull in one more section of optical ground wire into the Barbour Hill Substation. This work will be performed this Saturday and Sunday, July 22 and 23, 2017 between the hours of 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Please note that this work is not expected to interrupt electric service to homes or businesses.

Activities that you may see associated with this work may include the use of bucket trucks, cranes and similar equipment on Barbour Hill Road and at Barbour Hill substation. A helicopter will not be used for this work.

Keeping the lines of communication open is an important part of our work in your community. If you have questions about this work, please call the Eversource Transmission Information Line at 1-800-793-2202 or email us at TransmissionInfo@eversource.com.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we work to improve electric reliability for our customers.
